Appliance engineer, Ross and a keen Epee competitor attended the Dublin Satellite Competition 2014 (www.dublinsatellite.com/results/2014) and misses out top 8 finish by a single point.
Inspired by his father, who himself is an Epee veteran, Ross practices at Brixton Epee Club twice a week after work. Ross has been an appliance engineer at Domex for over 1 year now and has shown nothing but dedication, commitment and hunger to learn. He covers Central London for repairs and service on washing machines, dishwashers, dryers and electric cooking with his favorite brand being Beko & Grundig.
Since he lives and works in London attending the local club makes perfect sense. Also, on the days of his practice his route schedule is being planed accordingly. So after completing his last appliance repair job, he can go straight to his Epee practice.
Dublin Satellite is an international competition and Ross’s goal was to make the top 32. After loosing by a single point to make the top 8, he is still pleased with his 23rd place.
Domex has started offering support to any sports initiatives its staff get involved in, as this keeps them competitive and motivated at work as well as at the sports arenas and Ross is a clear example. In this year’s “Engineer Of The Year” competition, which is focused on the appliance engineer, it shows how motivated Ross is by delivering consistent results day in and out.
We all wish him future success in his “(Y)Epee” adventures and are 100% behind him.
